Sage CRM 7.3 Workflow issue with 'Status' field

I know its going to sound unbelievable but its real.

I have upgraded 2 CRM systems to 7.3 and both of them have custom Opportunity workflows. When an opportunity is updated by Opportunity workflow where status field is updated, instead of getting 'In progress' value i will have 'In progres' with 1 missing 's' at the end.

* IIS refresh + metadata refresh done,

* Checked the translations they are spelled correctly,

* Checked the workflow rules + recreated the action to set field value for status field,

* I tested this on both systems and their workflows are completely different,

* There are no SQL triggers for Opportunity table nor table scripts within CRM

Anyone experiencing the same issue? Any fixes out there or am i doing something wrong?

    The fist thing I would check is what value is being held in the database for the oppo_status where they are showing as 'In Progres'.

    My guess would be the data is not being written in and it is showing the code, as opposed to the caption for this.

    What are you doing in the rule? Are you setting a column value, or displaying the field for amendment?

    Hi Toby,

    Thanks for your suggestion, it helped me a lot.

    The code has been set to "In Progress" with space.

    I have renamed this to "Inprogress" and after that I have reselected the chosen status in my workflow rules.

    Its all working fine for me now.
