Sync Engine error

I am baffled as to why I am getting a sync engine error while trying to sync mailboxes.

During the Exchange server configuration everything is green. But when I try to sync the mailboxes, I receive a sync engine error. Not real sure why that may be happening because I am pretty sure I am connecting to the sync engine during the server set-up. I have verified that the Tomcat service is running and everything else that uses the Tomcat service such as the interactive dashboard are working fine. Hopefully someone can help me with my confusion, I am probably missing something simple.

    Hiya,

    You'll want to take a quick look in the logs. I assume that the overall setup is working ok - that there's a path going from the eWare DLL via the redirector, to the CRM Exchange synch engine and hence on to Exchange.

    I'd check out the ewaresystem.log first, since the eWare DLL is sending out the initial request, then check the generic Exchange integration log if the system log doesn't provide any answers. the system log should show the URL used, and any response received from further down the line.

    I couldn't find any logs, but I did check the syncengine.properties and found that it had a generic URL in it. I put in the correct URL and it worked! I probably should have looked there first but as the intial sync engine connection was connecting, I did not think it was a problem. Thank you for your help.
