How do I create a Custom Entity under a Custom Entity?

Hi All,

I am trying to create a second Custom Entity(PHASE) under a newly created Custom Entity(SITE) using the Custom Entity Wizard for CRM 7.2.

Unfortunately I am unable to do this.

When I create the entity "PHASE", it gets created at the same level as the first custom entity "SITE". I would like to see a tab of the entity "PHASE" under the fist entity "SITE" along with everything else it has to offer at that level.

Please let me know how this can be done.

Hi,

With the advance customization wizard we can create top level entities. However while creating second entity (PHASE) you might not be able to view Owned By SITE entity checkbox which makes Site entity as a parent entity, hence you are not able to create Phase entity under entity named Site. I would suggest you to create Phase entity under Administration | Advance Customization | Tabes and Databases section and then create ASP pages as needed.
