The screen to which you want to add the field is called 'OutBoundCallComment' and is found under the secondary entity

Administration -> Customisation -> Outbound Call Lists

But it is based on the CallList table. So what field do you want to add here?

Hi Jeff,

I want to add a selection field where the caller must put a value into it so the marketing team gets some stats of the call (if the call has been completed, if it hanged before it finished...).

The requeriment is that the field MUST be mandatory, so the caller won't skip to the next phone number unless he/she has filled these fields. I tried to add them but I have to enter into "add comments" screen to change the values and they're not mandatory.

Please, if you don't understand what I want to say ask me and I will prepare you some screenshots of the idea I want to ask.

This screen is generated from the eware.dll and we only have limited control over its behaviour. It is displayed in View mode and not edit mode so we can not within the screen definition force a user to provide a value because no validation trigger is called.

But if we do not want a user pressing a button until the data is in a certain state then we can use the clientside API to turn off the buttons like 'Get another call' until there is some data in the field we are interested in.

The clientside API introduced in Sage CRM 7.2 allows us to check field values using Ajax (crm.sdata method) and to hide buttons (crm.hideButton("NextCall.Gif")).

I think I understood it. So, I have to add the crm.sdata method and the hideButton function in my Outbound Call screen, as a Custom Content Script, right?
