Hide an EntityBoxLong

Good afternoon,

We want to hide a BoxLong that is into an entity.

As you can see in the image, I'm in Company entity. We have a field, "Persona", that is an advanced search selection field. We want that, if this field has a person inside, then ALL the PersonBoxLong that is in the screen hides and the fields into it get non mandatory.

How can I do to make it?

The Company entry screen is complex. When a company is inserted, Sage CRM assumes that a person record will also be added. This is the default contact for the company.

The fields "pers_firstname" and "pers_lastname" are set as mandatory within the Field Level security area of customizations. You can remove the requirement to enter the names in the Field Level Security area.

If the requirement for these fields is removed even when the Company is saved a person record will be created. In that case the pers_firstname and pers_lastname will be blank.

If you only want the fields to be mandatory when the company field 'Persona' is null, then you can add a validation rule that would check the data. The rule in the CaseDetailBox on the the case_slaseverity field provides an example.

You can hide the fields (and the panel) using Client Side Code.
