We are running v. 7.3b and attempting to use the Mailchimp integration. I have poured through all of the documentation, online articles, and videos and have not been able to find the answer to the simplest question.
We want to be able to send campaign emails to many different segments of our data. We might want to send an email to ALL of our contacts, but likely it will be a segment based on a specific industry or a specific geographical area, etc.
To do this do I first need to send ALL of my CRM contacts to the Mailchimp list via a group and then the segments will become subsets of that complete list when I create the campaigns? All the examples I'm seeing online show creating a list with just a handful of contacts. I want all of my contacts to be available in the main Mailchimp List for campaigns but the campaigns themselves would be targeted to subsets of that list.
What am I missing?
