SAGE CRM CTI

Hello all,

I hope there is someone out there who can guide me.

Our company have just integrated a CRM system onto our SAGE 100 commercial system.

I was told we could later have add-ons like the CTI telephone add on.

I just received a quote from the company who does our management and they are charging

aroun € 10.000,- per workstation!! FYI, we need this on 3 stations.....

Can anyone tell me if this is a the real cost of this add-on are are they just playing with me?

And might there be another contact for me in the South of France who can do this at a

way cheaper price?

    The ability of the CTI plug-in really depends on your phone system. Is that quote for a new phone system / application/server, not really the CTI of Sage CRM?

    I'm not in France but I know here in NA basic CTI really doesn't have a cost from the Sage CRM side, it comes with it. That said a client may have to buy a phone system that is compatible with the proper phone server and related application. They may be quoting some advanced version of it to work on your phone system with extra bells and whistles.

    Just a couple of quick thoughts.

    If you want to just get the basic CTI functioning, it shouldn't be nearly that much unless you don't have a digital (IP based) phone system that supports TAPI. Other than that, you would simply install your phone system's tapi driver software on each workstation, and then enable CTI in the CRM interface, input your CTI connection info for each CRM user (example Allworx: First name Last name where "Allworx' is the name of the phone system TAPI id on the workstation) From there you should have basic CTI functionality. The enbu solution is very sophisticated if you need more functionality than basic dialing.

    Hi, Roxanne. €10.000,- per workstation is quite a ridiculous amount for CRM-phone integration. If you'd like to integrate Insightly with any phone system available in either internation or global markets, you might want to take a closer look at Tenfold. It's a CTI application and Chrome extension that's compatible with all major phone systems. Set up is quick -- we're talking about 5-60 minutes and for three stations, it won't take long.
