CTI Phone System Setup

Hi,

We're integrating our Elastix Phone System with Sage CRM but have run into a few problems.

We get the following error despite having the phone plugged in, turned on etc and having enabled CTI on the user profile we're testing on.

We've also run the cmd TcmSetup /c <telephoneservername> which enabled TAPI on the machine we're performing the initial setup on;

As you can see CTI is enabled for the user and the IP of the phone is input.

Where are we going wrong? We've check over the systems administrator guide countless times and can't find the cause.

    The CTI Device name is pretty crucial. Ours for our shoretel server for me for instance is:

    CTI Device Name: Mark Ryan: SG90, IP Phone: 192.168.0.200 - 220

    So to break that down its

    You need to find the correct CTI format for your telephone system...

    You might want to consider a 3rd party CTI connector for that. You can check out Tenfold. Some of its main features are click to dial, floating UI and call analytics to name a few.

    Setting it up will only take around 5 to 60 minutes so that's as easy as it gets!
