Hi Lee, when did you download the Mapping tool? admittedly a newer version went up around January this year. I had a problem similar to what you describe and it was because I was using a component from before this time.

I downloaded it about a week ago. It's a tricky thing to get to work correctly I think.

Have you followed these steps?

Isn't this a different mapping component to the Sage CRM Mapping Component? The Sage CRM one uses OpenStreetMap, whereas this one seems to use Mapquest.

It's changed, the mapping component that was released back in January now uses Mapquest instead of OpenStreetMap

Here is a screenshot of it working in my CRM v7.3 SP3 system.

recently had a customer email me to say their maps are no longer working, when they click on the maps tab all they see is pink squares.

i have tried to reinstall the component as i noticed that its changed from openstreetmap to mapquest but still getting the same issue

i have also tried to install the component on 2 vanilla installs (7.3 sp3 and 2017 r1) following the steps detailed in https://community.sagecrm.com/user_community/b/sage_crm_news/archive/2016/01/26/how-do-you-install-the-mapping-component.aspx but i am getting the same issue aswell. when clicking on the maps tab all i see is pink squares but no maps

any ideas?

A friend of mine has been having the same problem. I suggested them to reinstall the component but it still does not work. Upon checking, I saw another thread which were discussing about this issue, it looks like a lot of us are experiencing the same thing.
