The custom search box actually only searches 3 sub-domains: Community.sagecrm.com, help.sagecrm.com, video.sagecrm.com. You can narrow that search to an individual subdomain too. Clicking on the tabs in the results will filter the results by that single domain.

We are using the same search on the help and community site to create a common experience.

We are waiting to hear whether we can switch off the ads in the results. These can be annoying but once we can do that I am confident that the search experience will be much superior to the default Community search.

We still use the old search in certain pages. If you click on the Marketplace you will see a search box. You can enter your search there. The first search will be restricted to files and the marketplace but you can clear those tags and the search will open up to the whole community.

The search screen provides basic data results without the ability to further drill into the data (by author, by forum or blog or file etc.) The whole experience is void of inspiration it seems.

Is this the final word on what we know have to work with in here?

The change to the community is not the last word. The purpose is to make this a better experience. We need to get rid of the adverts in the search because they are just distracting. We are trying to break down the division between the Help Center and Community. I'm retiring articles almost on a daily basis as we confirm the information has been moved into the documentation. We want people to find the most up to date and accurate information to help them do their work.

I had to log out of the site and log back in again to get the Marketplace search bar to work. This is what I want! :)

I really like the Aloglia search option - thanks for that! Built to sense what a person would be looking for.. Very nice :)

We've reinstated the Classic search temporarily. Once we've sorted out the Google search we will add that back in.
