Data Upload for Custom Entities

On the online help, I noticed reference to Data Upload into Custom Entities:

Custom entities (where available) – the information you upload will be imported exclusively into the custom entity’s table.

Do you have documentation on enabling this feature for custom entities?

Hi - This feature is only available on the Sage CRM Cloud product, and not on Sage CRM on-premises.

It's possible to transfer data into a Sage CRM on-prem custom entity table using say an import from excel into the table, but work would be required to associate the records with existing companies in the database.

Hi - its not on the roadmap currently, so definitely not in the near future. I will raise it with Product Management - but we always recommend that you also raise the request via your local Support/Product Management team as well.
