Gadgets with "customized" views

Hi,

I have built 2 gadgets from a view that pulls information from Sage 300 OE invoices.

Now I have been told that we cannot filter or sort by fields that have aliases. So the data in my gadgets is all over the place. When will this be fixed?

    You don't say whether these are SData Gadgets or List Gadgets using a Report or Group based on the view. Both List and SData Gadgets can be filtered by other Gadgets so it may be possible to link two Gadgets to create the effect that you desire.

    If you wish a feature to change then you will need to log a case with your local team and ask for an enhancement request to be escalated to the development team. Some aspects of the behaviour of the gadgets within the Interactive Dashboards are down to design choices and sometimes there are technical reasons.

    Sorry Jeff. These are list gadgets using a report based on a custom view that I wrote. The view pulls information from the Sage 300 Order Entry invoice header table.
