Hi again.

I was checking around in the knowledge base area and couldn't really find any examples.

However, I did come across a blog post about setting up an interactive view for My Leads through a report : community.sagecrm.com/.../viewing-my-leads-on-the-interactive-dashboard.aspx

I assume the same concept can be used to view to view My Recent Companies. So, I created a report with the necessary fields and search criteria and checked the Filter by Current User.

However, the screen is blank even when I search a company and then go back to my dashboard (?).

Apparently, I'm missing something here.

Can anyone help me along here that would be greatly appreciated.

The recent list is held within the field User_RecentList in the users table.

The recent list is in text format

How would you proceed in display a users' recent list of companies in an interactive dashboard?

I'm thinking of a query + report (?) - not so sure.

Gosh! I'm really struggling with this one... I can't seem to get the information to appear into a list gadget. Maybe I'm using the wrong gadget?? But I have try multiple ways to pull from the user table.

Does anyone know or is there an easier workaround other than returning to the classic dashboard on how to have a recent list of companies to appear on the interactive dashboard?

Its as if the interactive dashboard is unable to pull this recent field (User_RecentList) from the users table.

Shame that I need to revert. I really like the interactive dashboard functionalities for sales.

You can display User table information in list gadgets. You will need to create a report first which will act as the data source. And in turn you will need to have created a view that the report can use.

But the data in the user_recentlist field would need to be processed to make it usable. You would have to parse the information first. And that involves converting one field into several rows.

I managed to get a report and data viewed without the user_recentlist field.
