Download Link in Product Activation Email Not Working And Support Can Not Help: MSSQL for Sage Download

I have a new client that we are supposed to be installing software for this week. We received our product activation emails after the order was placed for both Sage CRM and MSSQL (for Sage). The email for the MSSQL CALs contained no license info and the download link is a retired article. I can not find anything on the knowledgebase or anywhere else on getting this MS download not to mention the license info is not in our partner portal.

I have an active support case for this which was opened on Tuesday. We still have no resolution. Support stated they couldn't help and they weren't familiar with the product activation email's we receive, the fact we sell MSSQL or who is responsible for these links in order to get an active one sent to me. Sadly, support was who I was told to contact for NA to get this resolved. As of yesterday my support contact said they haven't made any progress on figuring out where to get this info for a product we sell.

I need some help from the community and the Sage team outside of North America. Who controls these orders and can you jump in on this? I really don't want to tell the client that we have no resolution 2 days later on simply getting a download and license key.

Is this specifically for SQL or the Sage CRM product as well? How many users on the CRM key?

If you have a CRM key and up to 10-15 users you can, for the short term, use the SQL Express that can get installed with the product. Then when you have the key for sql sorted you can install the full version.

Not idea but should get you over the short term hurdle.

Thanks. I do appreciate the thought. I have been thinking along these lines as the week goes on. I really can't fathom telling the client I can't download a product they purchased. This will be Plan B.
