On screen notification to Team rather than User

Would it be possible to send a notification to all members of a team rather than just an individual?

When an order gets to a certain stage in the sales process it is assigned to Accounting.  It is not assigned to a particular member of the accounting team.

We have a requirement to alert users when they have something assigned to them.  Although the order is not specifically assigned to an individual it is the collective responsibility of the team to act on it.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

    Looking at the Escalation table (this I believe is that CRM uses to hold there is a notification and who it is for) there is no ChannelID field in that table,

    Though I wonder if by some Stored Procedure you could write something that manually creates entries in this table for all members of Team X for Record Y sort of thing. I would have to run some test check this theory though.
