Sage CRM Mobile Workflow Action/Send Email

SOLVED

I have seen this asked before, and I am assuming the answer is still no, but perhaps someone has a workaround.

One of my clients workflow actions in Opportunity to send an email for a quote request. They want that functionality in the Mobile site through their phone. Are workflow actions able to be used in the phone, if not anyone ever add something to 'send an email' in mobile?

    Hi Anthony

    Unfortunately no, you don't have access to Workflow options on the mobile (which is annoying). A workaround here could be to introduce a new field to the opportunity screen which if the user updates (e.g. a Yes/No selection or checkbox) is enough to trigger an Escalation Rule to fire off the email, but also on the Escalation rule a SQL Statement to move the opportunity to the next step in the Workflow.
