Pipeline Chart Style for Custom entities

Are there any plans to allow the new rectangular pipeline to be added for custom entities?

At the moment you can only use the cylindrical for new entities but it would be nice to use the rectangular instead!

We want to do this but we have several other major UI and UX changes that we need to implement first.
