Deleting Opportunities

We just activated the included CRM licnese with Sage 100c.  I am familiarizing myself with the product and doing some customization before rolling it out to our team.  I had some demo and test sales orders that synced over to CRM as opportunities.  I am trying to delte these, but I'm not given any Delete button.  I am the only user and have Administrator rights.  Why can't I delete old / test Opportunities?

    I don't know CRM with Sage 100, so not sure if there is something in addition to standard CRM, just want to check that you are clicking on Change first. the Delete button only appears when you click on Change (go to the opportunity - click change - click delete)

    Yes - I am clicking on Change.  I can see the Delete option on Opportunities that I have entered directly into CRM, but I do not see the delte option on those opportunities that were synced over from Sage 100.  We are 'kicking the tires' and trying to come up with our prociess flows.  We want to delete all of our tests before going live.

    This sounds like a Customisation. There could be scripts on screens, or a custom JS file on the server that is causing the Delete button to be suppressed under certain conditions.

    At this point I would redirect you to your business partner as they should be able to help and advise the best way to handle this. 

    We don't have Sage 100 here in the UK so I'm unable to help you as I don't know what the knock affect might be

    Hello

    I am sorry about my slow contribution.  You don't say which version of Sage 100 and Sage CRM you are using.  I know that there are 2 versions of the integration in market within North America - there is the Sage default integration and one provided by a 3rd Party Developer.  

    I checked with the KB (+) Sage City Community

    And found reference to the the documentation for the integration.  For example Installing Sage CRM

    In particular I search for documentation around opportunities:  Performing System Startup (sage.com)

    Restricting Updates

    The Delete and Edit buttons are available on the Company summary page only if the user is on the Company team.

    In addition, rights to update the following tabs can be restricted for individual users depending on Company Team membership. This means that if you have not been assigned to work on an account using the Company Team tab, you can view, but not update any of the following information related to that account:

    • Quick Look
    • Notes
    • Communications
    • Leads
    • Opportunities
    • Cases
    • Documents
