The list is called QuoteItemsGrid.  You can find this easily if you have switched on inline customization for list - see the 'Customise List' hyperlink.

You can then change the list as you need.

This just isn't working for me.  I'm using a 2023 R1.1 install.

I'm sure I've done it loads of times before on the OrderItemsGrid, but even though I'm adding my new column and setting the Custom Jump properties, the field just isn't showing as a hyperlink.

It's as though when the list loads it ignores any 'hyperlink to' settings on the grid and just adds the edit URL to the prod_name column via the dll.

Would love to think I'm just doing something stupid

When you click to add a new field, the properties of the field you had highlighted are automatically applied to the newly added one which is a pain and can catch you out. Basically, if you want the same link as the Product Name field, highlight it first, then add your new field.

Vega Thanks for the reply.  I'm actually just wanting a hyperlink to my own custom asp page.  Presumably I can do that, and we're not just limited to hyperlinking to the OrderLine Edit screen?

What properties have you set when you choose custom jump for the field in question? You need to specify the ASP page and which field contains the ID you wish to send to it

Yeh I've got all the fields set.  As I say, done it hundreds of times on other screens but this one isn't having it!

If i get the dev tools up in the browser it's not throwing any errors or anything, it's just not adding the hyperlink to the cell for some reason.

How come it says the field comes from the Lead entity?

It's just a view field, so not a physical field on the OrderItem table.  I tried adding the hyperlink to a standard OrderItem field as well to rule that out as an issue but it still didn't work.  As I say, I've done it before with View fields on previous versions and haven't had any issues so not sure why it's not playing ball this time.

Ahh right. I think you then need to add the translations as if it were a real field because I am sure the DLL uses the translations to work out the link

Cheers for the link.  I gave it a go but still the same.  I think it's got to be something to do with the dll and that particular grid.  

If I use the same method of creating a view field and custom jump but on my own bespoke grid it works no problem:

Are you trying to hyperlink from one entity to the same entity? I could be getting the wrong end of the stick here. But what if you edit the vLineItemsOrder view and do something like orit_lineitemid AS orit_lineItemid2 and then in your HyperLink call on the dummy field orit_lineitemid2

I had something similar where I had equipment linking to equipment (as one was the main part and another was as a sub part) and I could only get the hyper link to work because I needed not to reference the original ID field.
