finally sorted the issue, in the end all i had to do was to remove the user from the applicationimpersonation role and re-add, wait a few hours and then tried to set the connection up which went through with no errors

im having issues setting up exchange synchronisation for a client, have setup applicationimpersonation rights and the azure app as per the instructions but get an error when configuring in CRM.
In the logs im seeing an error which says 'license is invalid for this mailbox' - the mailbox has the Microsoft 365 Business Standard license attached to it
does any one know what type to license is required? Business Premium or should Standard work aswell?
