Has anyone tried the suggested work around of modifying the .js file in the www.root directory?  I tried it yesterday and it did not work.  I am wondering if I applied it incorrectly?

We were to comment out the following line...correct?

window.addEventListener("beforeunload", unloadEvent);

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.  Currently users are utilizing another browser.  However, they are waiting on a Chrome fix.  :-)

Works for us, we've applied it to about 20 sites so far and all are working fine now. I was expecting users to say it hadn't been fixed and ask them to refresh browser / clear cache.

Thats it. We haven't had reports of users complaining its not fixed and our tests didn't even need to clear browser cache. What happens if you login with a new incognito window?

It only worked after running a metadata refresh on our systems!!

OK...That is what I did not do.  I did not want to knock a bunch of users out of the system if I did not know that would resolve it.

Initially the fix above worked for us but the problem is back this morning. Overnight there was an iisreset and I have tried a full metadata refresh but neither has helped. Still getting Leave prompts on Chrome Version 113.0.5672.64 (Official Build) (64-bit). Has the issue returned for anyone else after applying the fix?

Might be worth checking the JS file again to double check. might be worth seeing if recycling the CRM app pool fixes it as when I applied it I didn't do a Metadata Refresh just recycled the app pool.  Unfortunately it does log users out if they are in CRM

Thanks Chris. I deleted a copy of the file I made then edited the js again adding a space after the // just to make a change and saved it. It seems ok again now without doing any refreshes or cache clearing. Odd.
