Does anyone know if it is safe to revert the 2023 icons/buttons back to those from the 2022 release?
Just that when you have custom entities it has been easy to add a 'picture' for the system to use but unless you have a graphic design package impossible to get one that looks like the 2023 ones.
Mixing the 2 just looks horrible, so a revert makes more sense.

The new icons are in SVG format rather than as gifs/jpgs/png files. You can create new icons in the new style (or at least that approximates it) just by 'cheating' a little.
If you start off with one of the existing icons you can strip out the 'middle' and then replace it with an image from a site like https://lineicons.com/icons/
This will allow you to download a free set of icons also in SVG format so if you get yourself an SVG editor you should be able to create new icons.
