Thanks for sharing the link.  This will impact Sage CRM but we know about this and in our work to modernise the Sage CRM features have already implement integrations based on Microsoft Graph.

For example the Email and Contact Import feature introduced in Sage CRM 2022 R2 uses Microsoft Graph.  - See:  https://help.sagecrm.com/on_premise/en/2023R2/Administration/Content/Administrator/EM_GetClientIdSecret-Outlook.htm  If you scroll down you will see the Required Microsoft Graph permissions.

There are still some “feature gaps” between Exchange Web Services and MS Graph but we anticipate that Microsoft will build out the list of features that Graph integration can use in the next couple of years.
