Can I just check whether you mean that the Fields should be ordered in Alphabetical Order (A-Z) of Entity, then Field (A-Z)  based on the caption (Translation) of the field?   

Hi, so for example after selecting Company as the entity, in the Field Name dropdown menu there is the second section Company, and within that section the field names are not alphabetical. It appears there is some attempt to order a-z, but not for all, so we are always going up and down the list trying to find the right one.

The Address and Person sections of this dropdown menu are the same.

This has always been the case with CRM and it annoys the hell out of me. Just checked in v2023 R2.1 and field names are still not in alphabetical order

Just looking at the company one yes they are in 'entity' order, but beyond that 'Address: Team' is showing before 'Address: City' and 'Address: County' is much further down

I can slightly understand the logic, it looks as though it is using the field name NOT the field caption (as Team would be address: Channelid and county would be Address: State')

Hi Martin Eastaff , You don't need to wait for a change to core product to achieve this. It can be accomplished with a simple custom js file that runs when Act=1710 to sort the text values of the ViewColumns select.
