There isn't a dedicated testing environment, though Sage does allow you to use the Licence twice (though this might have changed over the years, so worth checking) Once for your live environment and once for a test / development environment. Just note that CRM can not be installed twice on the same Apps server, so you would need to make sure you had a second server available. 

Then you can use the Component Manager within the test system to record changed performed within into, 'script' them out and upload the component file into your live environment to apply those changes - this takes a little practice and you can edit the files produced as well to fine tune what happens.
