Please can anyone help with this:

I am trying to run a Crystal Report (XI) in Sage CRM 7.2b.  More importantly I need the parameters of the report to pull across and be accessible to users in CRM. 

I came across the following in the CRM Administrator Manual which offered some guidance on the issue:

So I have typed the following into a notepad document with the extention .SEARCH and placed the document in the same folder as the report I am posting to CRM in the file location "crm\CRM\WWWRoot\Reports\Crystal":

dbo.APOBL
FISCYR
FISCPERIOD

I try to run the Crystal Report from CRM but all I get is a blank screen that says "Search Criteria" at the top. 
I need to know where I am going wrong! 

Any help would be kindly appreciated.
