SQL Server 2008 R2 Service Pack 3 and Sage CRM 7.2e compatibility ?

Hi, 
 Sage has documentation about Sage CRM database requirements. However, documention does not say anything about SQL Service Packs and CUs. I am planning to upgrade my SQL Server 2008 R2 SP1 to SP3. I am not sure this update will effect Sage CRM 7.2e and ERP 2014 or not? 
 Can anyone please answer this question about SQL Server SP upgrade and effects on Sage CRM and Sage ERP 2014 install?

Support matrix only provides the minimum requirement and it is always better to update the Service pack as it addressed some issues for itself. We do not see any outstanding issues with CRM or ERP.
