I want to be able to  search from CRM an optional field in sage 300 ERP.  We are using an optional field in OE to store product serial numbers.  We cannot use the serialization functionality of Sage 300 because there is a flaw in the ability to assign serial numbers when suing multilevel bills of materials, which we are.  So I have to use optional fields.  When a customer calls, we need the sales/service rep using CRM to be able to search the Sage 300 ERP records based on the serial number.  Many of our products are sold through dealers, and so our only connection to the end user may be the serial number.

Any possibility of setting up a search field in CRM to be able to do this?
