Printing Sage City Posts

Is there a clean way to print out Sage City posts? I like to keep a paper copy of some of the answered questions to reference back to later and I have tried printing out of Internet Explorer, Firefox, and Google Chrome but the formatting comes out as a total mess and usually cuts off a portion of the text. Any ideas?

  • Hi Jon_K

There appears to be some sort of formatting bug with the Print icon at the top of each post right now. I also tried printing directly from the browser and experienced the same issue. We will have to look into this further and apply a fix. I will update this post once it has been resolved. In the interim, I found printing from IE slightly better than printing from Google Chrome.

Thanks again for bringing this issue to our attention.

    Thanks,
    Derek

  • I use a free program called Jing to select portions of my screen, copy it and paste it into a document (can even paste into an email), then print the document. Works great, easy way to print just what you want from what's on your screen. Only drawback is when what you want is longer than one screen, but you can select-copy-paste one screen, go to the next screen and do the same, then print your document.

I've done the same type of thing using Snipping Tool which is built in to windows, it's just less convenient than being able to print it normally.
  • Can you instead just create a folder in your browser and bookmark those to your favorites?

I have done that in the meantime, I know it is kind of silly but I like to have a paper copy to reference. Derek says they are working on fixing it anyway.

Yes, this issue is currently on our "bug list" to look at. I'll post an update once there is more information to share on a fix.

    Thanks,
