Another thing to check for is whether you have rights to that task in Role Maintenance. The Viewers will hide PDFs for tasks you do not have rights to.
I wonder if perhaps because I have very limited access to the Payroll module, I am unable to view the Employer's Expense Report in paperless office.
Which reports are you trying to view - Journal and Register, Period End, Report or Customer?
The one that says Report Viewer.
Are you sure there should be anything there? It's not uncommon for that to be empty. What reports were you expecting to see there?
I am looking for these Payroll reports called Employer's Expense Summary and the boss said that's where I'd find them

Thank you. I went there and I see that report listed but my screen is still blank, even when I adjust the dates and select ALL companies or one of our companies. I think my boss may not have granted me access, although he says he is sure he did and has checked a couple times.
Could be that that report is not setup to print to Paperless Office. I would confirm that the setting are correct for that report.

There are special permissions to allow you to see documents posted to Paperless by other users.
