Access to Sage 100 API

SUGGESTED

Hello,

About a year ago we hired a 3rd party company to develop a Sales Order integration for us. Essentially what they are doing is extracting data from our Quotes & Sales Orders application (using Zoho Creator) and using POST functionality to create new Sales Orders in our Sage 100 company.

It has worked OK so far, but lately we have had major issues with response time from this 3rd party company with regards to bug fixes or changes to the integration (i.e. adding a new field to the integration). We would like to bring the integration in-house so we have more control over changes, and we have the internal resources to develop the Integration. However, I'm not familiar with what is needed to access the Sage 100 API. Does having a Sage 100 subscription inherently offer us access to the Sage 100 API, or do we need to continue paying a monthly fee to a 3rd party "Sage Partner" in order to get API access token?

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
