Salesperson Invoice

Is there a way to have the Salesperson automatically generate when entering a Sales Order? We only have one salesperson, now and forever. I still can not delete the Sales Person from Salesperson Maintenance. I have cleared all history for the Codes and I click on delete and it say "You cannot delete the salesperson when there are Salesperson History records."

If you have any invoice in AR Invoice History related to that Sales Person Code, you will not be able to delete the Sales Person. There is not currently an "inactivate" salesperson feature. If you go to the Sage Idea Site, you can see there is a request to delete/merge/inactivate Sales People. You can vote on that request for a future enhancement.

You seem to be asking two questions here. How to generate a new salesperson and how to delete a salesperson. Please note that if you have only one salesperson setup I doubt if you will be able to delete it if your options say that you will be using salespersons.
