Who has what permissions?

Has anyone ever created any report to find out what roles have access to a specific security event or module option? I am interested in looking at this rather than wading through the dozens of roles we have created looking at each one. Any suggestions?

I believe there is a report in Library Master, with an option to show the task detail for each role.

Yes, there is. I was hoping for the ability to specify a paticular security event or module option and then have the report return the roles that have this access.

Probably a quick and easy crystal report. I always thought a cross tab style report with X's in the boxes would be a better way to report on security.

I once redeveloped the Role report to allow it to run as a custom report, so I could filter out the rows with no access. It was a couple years ago, but I remember the raw data being a mess of codes to interpret and hard code translations.

Ew, yeah, I see what you mean. It is messy, to display the role, the task, and whether or not it's possessed by the role.
