Do you have new printers? Are you printing out of different trays? Are you printing out of different computers. All of this can change how a check or form prints.

No new printers. Same tray. Same computer.
Everything else is the same.....that's what's puzzling

Print drivers might have changed in a Windows Update.

Interesting......earlier this afternoon at 1:30, we printed an invoice, it was fine.
Then a 2nd person printed an invoice at 2:30 and the form printed higher.
Now we go back to print the 1st invoice a 2nd time and that one prints out higher....from all workstations

What are the results when you print a "standard" non modified form for these entities? I suggest setting up a brand new form, which will copy the "default" and test that new form to determine if it is a network/printer/PC issue, or if it is a Form Specific Issue.

Are you sure you are using the same form as you were previously. Very commonly I see people have inadvertently switched forms.

Yes, we are using the same form

Interestingly, of the 4 users, one of the users can print the form from her computer and it remains the same.
The other 3 users' computers cause the form to print out higher on the page.

Is this a new clue?

Sounds like differing printer drivers (or settings at the windows level) on the computers. Oddly enough I have actually seen where different releases of fonts on different workstations cause strange printing issues as well.

since payroll is this week, we tried printing a paycheck today - it worked fine
and it worked from a work station where the AP check did not print correctly yesterday

this is bizarre

all 4 work stations are now working correctly for both invoices and checks

we've made no changes to any of the forms, printers, drivers, etc.

today we do not
