Where's Tom Target when you need him. You setup a UOM conversion table 12 Each in a Case.  In Item Maintenance you would select CASE for Purchase and Each for Sell. Set the Standard to Each.  When writing orders you can change the UOM and select Case.

And then use your pricing schedules to set quantity discounts.   In item maintenance click on the "more" button and select pricing.

i am looking for help for the same . Our company give discounts based on dollar value of order. So if certain order exceeds certain dollar value then discount percentages are there. I just wan to know is there any possibility that this can be defined in Bv.

Is this a discount based on the entire order quantity or based on groups of items?

On entire order quantity. .like we have around 200 parts ..We segregated into three classes ..so if an order comes for 50k then say a discount of 3 percent of items falling in  first class, 4 percent  for class b and 5 percent  for class c ..

So from what you're saying, an order has to hit a certain $ amount in order to get these discounts?  If so, it sounds like you may need some custom scripting. You can segregate items by Item Price Codes in Sage 100 (Inventory --> Setup --> Price Code Maintenance), but that goes by qty, not by total dollar amount.

I would suggest you add a custom script to the sales order entry that automatically adds a discount line (or lines if you want to show each group independently) that looks at the order total and all the items on the order.

(Answering without testing...):

I'd consider setting up a discount % Price Level and script a change to the line PL values when the order total reaches a threshold (Pre-totals event, or button script).
