Sage 100 Upgrade to MS SQL - Seeking Feedback

We are looking at upgrading our Sage 100 back end to use Microsoft SQL.  We have been told it shouldn't be an issue but others have a perception that Sage 100 on MS SQL is slow.

Is this true still?  I think the information is old as I cannot imagine that Sage would let this product persist with that sort of performance issue

We have a reseller that we have and they stated it should be fine - but their opinions to what others have gone through can be night and day.

thank you Slight smile

Only with massive bulk transactions (importing 1000 of lines, posting 100's of invoices at once...) will you really notice any difference, and even then, throwing better hardware at the problem would help with that.

Custom reporting is phenomenally faster with SQL.
