Suppress Printing on a Customer Invoice

We do service work that in some instances calls for a "fixed" price per job. We will bill for the total cost of the project on one line item. We add additional items to the SO for costing purposes. Does anyone know of a way to suppress the print on the "costing" purpose items on the invoice to the customer?

Add a UDF to the invoice lines table with two values (Y and N). Have the users select Y to print or N to not print the line item. Add the UDF to the invoice work file. Lastly, suppress the line items where…

Do you use Automated Service for your service management system? If so, there is a “Hide” feature available which then allows you to suppress lines you have checked to hide.

If you aren’t using AS or another service mgmt system, give me a call.
