Print the DTR from the GL module to see if any batches were only half posted.  Look for any posts to the Inventory control account(s) from the GL / AR / AP modules.

Did you check for abnormal postings to the Inventory control accounts, as I indicated above (from source module GL / AR / AP).

I see this when someone makes a purchase of inventory through AP using a credit card and they expense it out to Inventory instead of COGS.  If you run the GL Balance Sheet is it in balance?

Yikes....no, it's not balanced. I can't believe I didn't notice this sooner. Where should I start??

Scroll through your Source Journals, looking for a "*" in the "OB" column.

I'm unsure where I would look for this. 

In the GL go to the Inventory account and go to the transaction tab, sort by Journal and look for any from AR, AP or GL.
