Distribution Account Number Required

Attempting to enter a check during Bank Rec. I want post to the GL. I enter a distribution account number but get the error "distribution accound number required" I have tried to copy it from the lookup and type it in.. can't get past the error.

Make sure the GL number is valid and "Active." We had a similar situation in PO and it was because the GL number was changed to Inactive and staff wasn't notified and the GL number had been used for years. Another one was Misc Charge and the sub-account was changed.

GL numbers are valid and active. They work from Check, Deposit and Adjustment Entry but not when adding a check Reconcile Bank. So there is a work around.
