MICR requires a font to be installed. You are seeing the characters with a standard font set and not MICR Font.

Why not just use the same report file for the new bank code?  If you use the table fields (instead of hard-coding the account values into the form, that is easier in the long run).

If you hard-coded the values into the report, just make a copy of that form and update the values (instead of trying to redesign it from scratch).  MICR alignment is very delicate.

You can just put spaces in the data entry fields. So in your case I put two spaces in the front of the account number.

This is without the MICR font being used. Your case you will see it with the MICR now.

Kevin is right in that you should not have to put MICR field on the form depending on which form template you use. Plain and Marbled,  should have it but the others do not (if I recall correctly). You do have to make sure it is placed correctly on the form so it aligns with check readers that read the MICR.

But Kevin I do not think they are hard coding the value (jcaal5 let us know if this is not the case) of the values for MICR.  I think they were just adding the formula field @MICR to the form. They are entering the bank info in Bank Code Maint. but when they run the report it doesn't show correctly.

Jcaal5, you should not have to install MICR but one time per each workstation that you expect to run the report on. What can happen is if you go into the crystal report, you may have changed the font being used and it no longer is set to be MICR. This can happen without you knowing it if you open the form on a machine that doesn't have MICR and you save it. It may have changed the font to a default font on that machine since it couldn't find it locally.
