Sage Payment Center - documentation

We had a customer ask us about this feature in their recently upgraded Sage 100 menu, and doing some digging there does not appear to be accurate / current information available.

Words like "easy", "instantly" and "no installation" sound great from a marketing perspective, but what are the functional details?

The PDF linked from the Sage 100 Launcher indicates that data can flow back into Sage 100.

Yet KB 74679 says the opposite.

Can things be clarified in some updated documentation please?  We shouldn't have to call Sage support to learn about Payment Center.  Sure, they were able to clarify there is no additional cost for SPC, but what does it do?
