Looking to Customize Customer Statements Sage 100 2019

I am looking to customize customer statements in the A/R Period End section. I can set up basic customizing by setting up a new form and going into design and making my changes, but I want to limit which customers are generated without having to enter a criteria each time. I would like to embed it into the Crystal Report. It seems to ignore the customization on fields such as customer number unless I place the information onto the basic print screen under selections which clears when you close the print window. Has anyone else tried doing this? There are certain customers I want to exclude.

    The selection filters are used to populate the work table, prior to calling the CR print engine.

    Sorta, it appears to be done on purpose. Note that Parameters do not have the same issue so in THEORY you could create a parameter and enter in the values you want and then select the Parameter in the Selection option. Worth a try. I have used Parameters when I wanted to input my own selection criteria on the fly.

    I'm always overly cautious when making structural changes (filters, top level sorting, top level grouping...) for any report or form that produces Paperless PDF's.  It's too easy to break things (where Sage expects a PDF for customer ABC, but you've filtered that out in the report settings... so nothing is generated for that customer... but does Sage just not write the line to the Customer PDF log?  Or will the wrong data get into customer ABC's PDF and potentially get emailed to the customer?... Yikes!).
