I don't recall the reason but the logic that was implemented to suppress items on the menu did not include the user added tasks (Custom Reports, V/I Jobs, UDTs) that are added to the menu.  I am going to follow up to see if this is something we want to change.

Thanks Kent.  We have a customer asking. 

Functionally it is not that bad (since users are blocked when the don't have access) but it does not fit with the new launcher's streamlined interface (showing only tasks you can use).

Looks like it is already requested on the Ideas site... and I just added my vote.

This issue has been corrected and is scheduled for the next Sage 100 2020 and 2021 Product Updates as well as Sage 100 2022.

User added tasks (Custom Reports, UDT Maintenance, V/I Jobs) that are added to the menu (and Roles) will be hidden on the launcher menu if the user does not have access in Role Maintenance to the task.
