Yr. 2021 Form 1099-MISC, NEC, INT (RECIPIENT COPY)

Question

What envelope should be used for the RECIPIENT COPY of the 1099-MISC, NEC and INT? For tax year 2020, for each recipient, they posted 4 to a page, so I used the 4UP envelope below (DW4SS) which only displays the payer and the recipient addresses through the window and seems to work fine. Can anyone confirm that the forms that print from Sage (from Aatrix) will remain at 4 to a page for each recipient for tax year 2021?

Yes the 1099 forms will all remain the same as last year except the 1099 NEC Copy A (red copy) which has been changed to 3 per page. Sage 100 versions 2021.2 and 2020.4 were updated for 1099 processing. Version 2019.5 will be supported with the IRD installed target release mid-December. Although Sage 100 versions are updated for processing 1099s Aatrix will be updating the actual 2021 forms around mid-December (usually around the 20th). So printing of 1099s should not be done until all updates are complete. Federal and State due dates will be posted in the Year-End Center on Sage City when available.
