I am getting an error message while trying to import AR_InvoiceHistoryDetail records into Sage 100 2021 from Sage 100 2018. Error #112 Keyed File Error (Record Key Size Invalid)

I am getting an error message while trying to import AR_InvoiceHistoryDetail records into Sage 100 2021 from Sage 100 2018. Error #112 Keyed File Error (Record Key Size Invalid), I got an error during month end close about an open invoice in the system because someone entered an invoice during the closing and then deleted it. Not sure if that has anything to do with it. Please advise what options I have, I have the backups from before the parallel installation, per the checklist for upgrading.

  • Thanks for all the help, the Sage Support crew walked me through the migration again since I had backups of the new install directory. Had to Rebuild Files and then Rebuild Sort files for all company modules again, and this time it migrated properly and I am working. Just having to convert reports as triggered for some reason, Sales order, Invoices, and what ever report I start. Need to find where I update all at once, had the box checked last night to convert them during migration.

    Not sure what that check box does, but the way I've always converted all reports is MASCRCW.exe in the ..\MAS90\Home folder.

    Yeah... the new report conversion (during company data conversion) hasn't been working for me so I still use MASCRCW too.
