Customer Memo

Hi Everyone,

I do not see the memo button on my customer maintenance screen.  Where can I add the function for all of my users who will need to be able to see and change the memo when needed under the customer maintenance. I tried going into the AR Memo Maintenance screen and changed the drop down to maintain, but 2 of the users still can not see the memo button.

    Thanks for reaching out. It seems you are having trouble with memo button visibility for your users. This issue typically occurs when the user's role has the Memo setting selected as "Hide" for the specific Module and Memo Type in Sage 100.

    To resolve this, you can either assign the users to a different role which has permissions to view the memo button, or you can modify the Memo Options for their current role. Here's how to do it:

    1. Go to Common Information, then Main, and open Memo Manager Maintenance.
    2. Select the Module (Accounts Receivable) and the Memo Type (likely Invoice History).
    3. Choose the Role assigned to the user.
    4. Change the Memo Options from "Hide" to "Show" or "Maintain".

    Thank  you Erzi,

    I have tried those steps.  And Customer maintenance is selected as maintain.  But the 2 users still do not have the memo function available.
