You can't find Source Journal Maintenance?

Yes, I can find Source Journal Maintenance.  However, I am referring to the process of

1) creating a Journal Entry

2) Saving that Journal Entry as a "Standard Journal Entry" so I can copy from it later.

That is in General Journal Entry. Create your entry and then click on Save Standard

I do know how to create a Standard General.  I need access to the table that keeps these  "standard journals"  I have attached a screen shot because the photo should clarify.

I want to change/edit the "name" of the Standard Journals.

You don't need DFDM. Create a new JE, Click Copy Standard, Click Save Standard, Yoiu will be able to change the description before saving

Please do the following to change the name of an existing Standard Journal:

1. Open General Ledger, Main, General Journal Entry

2. In the Source Journal field, select applicable source journal code

3. Click Copy Standard button

4. In the Copy Standard window, in the Standard Journal field, type the NEW standard journal name/number

5. In the Copy From field, select an existing standard journal to copy from

6. In the Description field, type a description for the NEW standard journal

7. If you do not want to copy comments from the existing standard journal to the current standard journal, clear the Copy Comments check box, and click OK

   • Information from an existing standard journal is copied to the new standard journal

To delete the old Standard Journal, do the following:

1. Open General Ledger, Main, General Journal Entry
2. From the lookup, select the 'Source Journal'
3. Click Save Standard button
4. Select the Standard Journal you want to delete from lookup
5. Click Delete button
6. Select Yes to the message "Delete Standard Journal...?"
