I usually end up hacking the AR_OpenInvoice file.  The field is Paid Today.

This seems to happen when a cash receipts entry gets abandoned after committing an amount.

I am assuming this is in AR. What has happened is that in the Open Invoice file in the field Payments Today there is an amount. To correct you have to use DFDM to go into the file and that field and clear the amount.

Yes in AR Module.  Sage 100 ERP. I have no idea what that means....DFDM?

Or try running arwar4 from Sage - File - Run.

Reb - Big Louie is correct. When you select an invoice to pay in Cash Receipts on the lines tab, a flag gets "flipped"  and this is called the "paid today" flag.  Once that flag is flipped, Sage 100 thinks the invoice has been paid.  You can't pay an invoice twice, so you have to either run a utility or flip the flag manually, using DFDM and going into the AR_OpenInvoice file.  Look for the KB 17964 and it will give you the steps that have been suggested here.

In this case you should call your reseller and have them remote in and fix this for you.

Yes.  I have.  Of course it will be hours even with Gold Support.  I do appreciate all of you helping me.
