Sage 100 Daily Backorders are not properly removed from Sales Order

Help!

I am on version 2013 & we use Starship to Ship out of & have been for a month.

Recently i have noticed for all backordered shipments (partial shipments) that the system isn't properly clearing those out of the "Open Sales Order" report.

When i post at the end of each day it is running my "Daily Backorder" report, however when you go to review the order it is still showing up as a "Standard Order" and not a "Backorder".

Plus when we go to print the backorders it should say "Backorder" at the top of the new Sales order. Instead it just prints "Sales Order" instead of Back order.

Everything is posting through correctly & our customers are billed correctly & it is showing up correctly on the invoices as backordered.

If you go into the sales order does it list the remaining lines and does it show an amount in the Backorder field?

It still shows up in the "ordered" field. The "Back Ordered" field is still blank. It's also on the Open sales order report as well.

This is for multiple shipments that this issue has occurred this week.

That is why. If you are using Shipping Data Entry, in the Shipping Setup Options do you have the box checked to Prompt for Backorder on Partial Shipments.

The box is "Checked" in the shipping setup options to "Prompt for Backorder on Partial Shipment".

I also failed to mention that it properly shows up on the "Backordered" line item on the actual invoice as well & when we post it properly shows up on the "Daily Backorder Report" that is generated.

Here's another odd thing i noticed when posting invoices on backorder items. It did half the backorders correctly and the other half incorrectly.

Also when doing the daily sales update we receive an "Error Encountered" message stating the Record " " in so_SalesOrderHeader.M4t is in use by another task. Update will continue to retury until record "" is available. The record error only occurs on those shipments that were "Backordered".
