You can include the Addenda Record (record type 7) in ACH interface setup or print/email a Remittance Advice

1. Open Accounts Payable, Setup, Accounts Payable Options

2. Click ACH tab and select the Enable ACH Electronic Payments and Print Vendor Remittance Advice checkboxes.

3. Click Accept

The only thing that would have the invoice number would be a separate record (Type 7). To include that in the ACH file you will need to check the Include Addenda Records, in ACH Interface Maintenance.

I'm not sure if my bank will charge more for transmitting extra data, but this will work. Thanks for your help!

Just in case anyone else is interested - Citibank currently charges an extra .04/per item when addenda records are included. Because we are already set up for ACH and use 'validator', all we needed to do was toggle the addenda records on and process as normal. Since it is relatively cheap, we've decided to just keep it on, but I suppose you can turn it on and off at will.
